I Is Another Simultaneously

The installation places the observer in a state of permanent superposition: two perspectives exist simultaneously until one of them is consciously perceived. Every movement of the body triggers a shift — a moment of measurement that disturbs the fragile balance. Two opposing webcams mirror and fragment the image of the person, superimposing it with a shifted perspective from behind.

Every action, every attempt to fix or control a state becomes visible, making the tension between the acceptance of simultaneity and the human urge for definition tangible. A moving, spatially distributed noise complements the visual feedback and reacts to the movement of the body.

The work explores how the body is mediated in real time between simultaneous perspectives and how the human urge to define permanently shifts the balance.
